IAFS Classic Bodybuilding Championships

Welcome to the Classic Bodybuilding Championships
We are proud to introduce The Classic Bodybuilding Championships, an open, IAFS sanctioned invitational for athletes from all over the U.S. and internationally. This new format is designed to celebrate the art, tradition, and timeless appeal of classic bodybuilding.
Whether you're a first-time competitor or a seasoned athlete, this is your stage to shine with symmetry, shape, performance, and presentation.
WHY THE CHANGE?
After nearly a decade of traditional qualifying events, we wanted to spotlight the roots of bodybuilding—rewarding classic lines, artistic posing, and passionate performance rather than politics or pressure.
Our vision is to create a more inclusive, community-focused, and creatively rich experience for all athletes—from novice to masters, from physiques to art.
WHO CAN COMPETE?
Any athlete—from any federation or background—who wants to celebrate the essence of physique competition. U.S. and international athletes are welcome.
All competitors are encouraged to enter more than one category if eligible (Open, Novice, Masters).
